Get your rest!
I am so guilty of not getting enough rest, when deadlines come and life seems to pile up the first thing I eliminate is sleep. Oh well I'll drink lots, and lots of coffee. But honesty sleep should be at the top of our things to do list or at least near the top. As adults we need to have a good 8 hours of sleep. We all say I know my body, I do just fine on 4 hours of sleep or less.. I'm young, I can do this but sleep is so beneficial.
Sleep plays a major role in your well-being. Getting good quality sleep at night can improve your mental and physical health, quality of life, and safety.
When we are sleepy we don't make good decisions, our reaction time is delayed and our thought process is out the window. Next time your in a jam to meet a deadline and threating to forgo rest, remember that sleep will help you refocus ! Now get some Rest :)
Koko, I absolutely agree that rest is very important. Just like you, I do not get enough rest. I work a 40 -45 hour a week job with great responsibility. I supervise 23 employees. I also run (and have run for about 14 years now) my own computer repair business. As you can tell, am back in school for the first time in 18 years. Great job!
