Water

Water your life!

Are you aware that we are mostly composed of water? Water is so vital to our overall health. We've all heard that we should drink 8 glasses of water a day. Recently I've spoken with a few doctors who say that 8 glasses of water a day is a good starting place but it may not be enough. So how much water is enough? Take your current weight and divide it by 2.. that's how many ounces of water you should be drinking at day(at least). For example if your 200 pounds.. 200/2=100 therefore you should be drinking at least 100oz or 12 and a half cups of water a day. If your a very active person you should drink more!


Why is water so important?
Because our bodies are about 60% water, drinking water helps to keep our bodies functioning  properly while looking and feeling great.

Calorie control, if you are seeking to lose weight or maintain your current weight water is a great aid.

Water keeps your skin looking healthy

Water keeps toxins out of your system

How can you drink the recommended amount of water?
Do it purposely. Set reminders around your home like sticky notes, keep a water bottle at your desk while working and begin every meal with 2 glasses of water. You'll make your goal in no time.

Next time your thirsty reach for the water! its good for you!

  1. I just had a conversation with someone the other day and I was telling the the break down of how much water they needed. I gave them the weight equation and their eyes got big and said that a lot of water. I shared with them wants you continue its not that hard! So drinking water is very important!
